UGC portfolio page outline
The exact section order for a portfolio page built to be skimmed in eleven seconds by a marketer deciding whether to book you.
When to use this
Use as a build checklist for your public portfolio page. Every section answers a question the buyer is already asking, in the order they ask it.
1. ABOVE THE FOLD
• Your name
• [POSITIONING LINE] — e.g. "Short-form video for skincare and wellness brands"
• Your single best piece, playing immediately
• One button: "Work with me"
2. THE WORK (3–6 pieces)
For each piece:
• The video or image
• One line of context — product, angle, format
• A result if you have one ("used in paid social, 1.2M impressions")
• Label spec work honestly as a concept piece
3. WHAT I DO
• Formats you deliver
• Categories you shoot
• Turnaround time
• What's included as standard (hooks, revision round, crops)
4. RATES
• "Starting at [STARTING RATE] per video"
• Link to the full rate card or media kit
5. PROOF
• Two or three short testimonials with a name and brand
• Logos of brands you have genuinely worked with — no aspirational logos
6. ABOUT
• Three sentences maximum. Who you are, what you're good at, where you are.
7. CONTACT
• One enquiry form or one email address
• Not four social iconsWhat to fill in
- [POSITIONING LINE]
- One sentence: what you shoot, for whom.
- [STARTING RATE]
- A visible starting range — it pre-qualifies enquiries.
Make it work harder
- Rates on the page filter out brands with no budget before they book a call. Hiding them costs you time, not money.
- Replace your weakest piece every quarter rather than endlessly adding new ones.
- The positioning line is the highest-value sentence on the page — make it a category, not an adjective.
