Rights & licensing

What is Work made for hire?

A contractual arrangement in which the brand owns the copyright in the content outright, rather than licensing it from you.

Why it matters to your money

Stronger than a buyout: you may lose even the right to display the work in your portfolio. If you sign one, carve out portfolio rights explicitly.
